Massa Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot

Planted at 1300’ elevation on gravelly sandy loam.The Durney Vineyard was the first planting in the Carmel Valley AVA in 1969, became certified organic as the Heller Estate in the 1980s, and was purchased by Bill and Laurie Massa in 2018. This block of Cabernet Sauvignon was planted in the 1980s with a Mirasou selection massale, and the Merlot was planted in the mid 1990s.
